Chris Barrow has been active as a consultant, trainer and coach to the UK dental profession for over 12 years. He has recently joined Integrated Dental Holdings as Director of Private Sector Development.
Chris combines long experience and deep expertise with the originality and independence needed to resolve the thorniest problems. Naturally direct, assertive and determined, he has the ability to reach conclusions quickly, as well as the sharp reflexes and lightness of touch to innovate, change tack and push boundaries. Recognising the opportunity in the dental profession, 1997 saw the creation of The Dental Business School (DBS) and the development of a 12-month business coaching programme for dental practice owners and their teams, delivered to over 400 UK dental practices in the following 10 years.
Nothing appeals to Chris more than something that looks like a lost cause; he loves to fix what seems broken, rekindle what looks extinguished and bring back to life things (and people) which appear forlorn and lifeless.
Ask Chris what he motivates him, and he'll say it's to help people succeed in their lives and businesses more quickly and easily than he did.
Chris' talk is titled "Shoulders of Giants - a look at 10 UK practices that are succeeding in 10 different ways" and it explores innovation, original thinking and 21st Century business models in UK dentistry.
Sean Fitzpatrick is an outstanding motivational and team building speaker, he is also an excellent and humorous after dinner speaker recounting anecdotal stories from his life as a rugby player and now in the media.
Sean Fitzpatrick's extraordinary international career began with his debut for the All Blacks in 1986 against France. He was appointed captain of the All Blacks in 1992 and played in 121 international matches, including 92 Test matches, a New Zealand record. Sean also holds the record for most Test matches as an All Black captain (51) and has played in more Test match victories (74) than any other player.
One of the most durable Rugby Union players of all time, Sean Fitzpatrick was also one of the very best. Possessing excellent handling skills, he made a habit of popping up in the right place at the right time. He ended his career with an overall tally 55 points in Test matches, including 12 tries and he was phenomenally accurate with his lineout throws.
Sean is an outstanding motivational speaker on teambuilding. His speech entitled 'Be as Successful as You Can Be' encourages organizations to "benchmark themselves against the world's best" and encourages continuous learning at both organizational and individual level.
During the day Paddi will discuss:
